Memory is the human element of time, ever changing as we use it to navigate through our lives. They are what make us human…we are the only species that can self reflect, our memories are all the impressions we take with us through life.
Our stories in focus
Our next exhibit will be at Satelitte at 523 East Frankin St. in Chapel Hill
Called..Local Histories…The Ground We Walk on Every Day January- June 2011. Panel discussions with local historians, activists, artists, folklorists and documentarians, musical evenings with local bluegrass, folk and electronica musicians, and local cuisine will be scheduled throughout the exhibition period.” Will keep you posted!
New Project
We are going to be creating a project for Rose Community Foundation Legacy Circle, a group of philanthropists who have bequeathed part of their estate so that the foundation can continue it’s work. This project will be a tribute to them and a way to archive their values.
This is our 4th project…each one a visual narrative of stories needing to be told.
Ok, I seem to know how to add words to our blog but having a hard time figuring out how to get the photos up…but I will find out and be back with photos.
